The Determined Mind

When it comes to anything in life, sometimes the only one that holds us back is ourselves. Whether you have certain goals in work, spiritually, or perhaps in your love life, and in settling down. We have goals and things that we hope will happen in our lives, but sometimes we tend to drag our feet so to speak. We may know what we want and what it will take to get what we want. But, either we're not putting enough effort into it, dragging our feet, or we might even be afraid of failure and what ifs. I wrote this article to help those become more self-aware in realizing that if you're resonating with my words at all, even a little, you hold the key within yourself to make a change.

First off, what you need to do is make sure that you know what you want. Think of your goals in life, in work, spiritually, and romantically. Once you know what your goals are, you're halfway there. If you don't have any specific goals or dreams in life, it's okay, and not judging here, but you need to sit yourself down, take out a pen and paper, brainstorm deep, figure it out, and write them down. Think about what you want in your life, what are some goals that you hope to attain, and what kind of person that you hope to find, and fall in love with.

After you know what you want and what your future goals are, you need to figure out what it will take to achieve those goals and dreams. In order to succeed at anything, you must have your mindset clear and focused, and be ready to take it to the hole. I can't help but use basketball terms, being that I'm thinking about Kobe in the back of my mind. This is exactly my point! Staying focused on your goal, and on what you hope to achieve is everything if you truly hope to achieve it. No, I'm not perfect either, pretty close, but no. There's no need to drag your feet and stall your dreams from becoming a reality. If you know what it takes to bring more happiness and peace into your life, you must prepare a game plan. Having a game plan is a way of organizing your route to success, and in what you hope to achieve.

It's imperative to have a determined, focused, and driven mindset when it comes to going after what you want. You're in control of how much you stall your goals from happening. As well, you're also in control when it comes to letting other people prevent you from staying focused. Whether or not you let someone else stall your game plan is in your hands. Remember, you can't control others, and everyone has a game plan or at least they should. When it comes to romance and in your love life, it's important to be on the same page as your partner, go hand in hand, and create a game plan together that will work for you both as a couple. Keep in mind, if you're the only one that's holding you back, because of fear or any reasons that are rooted from lack of enthusiasm or drive, you're doing yourself an injustice, and you need to start over, and recreate your thinking pattern.
