Our Lakers starters tonight are Jordan Clarkson, Tarik Black, Ryan Kelly, Wesley Johnson, and Wayne Ellington. Jeremy Lin, Carlos Boozer, and Ed Davis are not in the game today. The Nets are starting off strong, taking the lead. Wayne Ellington just hit a nice, long, deep shot. That was beautiful! Jordan Clarkson is getting his rhythm and making some shots. When Ellington just made another 20 foot jumper. Brook Lopez and Deron Williams are the leading scorers of the game so far. The Lakers are trailing by 11 points, going into the second quarter with a score of 30-16.
Wesley Johnson just made a sick block against Bojan Bogdanovic. Ryan Kelly just made a long two pointer. The Nets are showing a great lack of defense. Jabari Brown is active in the second quarter. The Lakers are playing well offensively today. Tarik Black just made an easy layup. The Nets are still in the lead. Wayne Ellington just hit another long shot. Both teams are shooting over 50% in this first half. It's halftime with a score of 61–50 Nets.
Jordan Clarkson just made a good three pointer. Wesley Johnson just had a nice slam dunk. The Nets aren't shooting their free throws very well, so the Lakers should use this to their advantage. Brook Lopez just blocked Wayne Ellington's three foot layup. He's so big, he made that block look easy. The Lakers have turned the ball over 8 times so far. The Lakers are showing some nice ball movement. Wesley Johnson just got the ball under the basket to Jordan Hill, and he gets a three point opportunity. The third quarter just ended and the Lakers are down by 11 with a score of 85-74.
The Lakers just had their eighth offensive rebound of the game. The Lakers have 10 turnovers so far. Wesley Johnson is having a much better shooting day. Jabari Brown just blocked Alan Anderson's 4 foot jumper. Jabari Brown just made a nice three pointer, making it his eighth of the season. Deron Williams just made a bad pass, Robert Sacre stealing the ball. We're halfway through the fourth quarter and the Lakers are down by 7. I'm seeing some nice Laker basketball here. The Lakers are learning how to work together as a team and it's kind of ridiculous (in a good way). This is awesome!
For whatever players that we keep next season, this is what we got to see happen. We're going to have to see the ball go through Kobe's hands, lots of teamwork, good defense, and good ball movement. Yep!! Then, we'll be set. We just saw a taste of good Lakers basketball today. As far as this season goes, these Lakers games are just for practice. Jordan Clarkson has five offensive rebounds and the whole Nets team has six. Jordan Hill is having a great game. Jordan Hill has 20 points off the bench and 16 rebounds, with a minute to go in the game. Derik Williams just hit a couple of free throws. Game ova! The final score is 107-99 Nets.
