Good news, Kobe's in the game. LeBron James is back now from missing two weeks with knee and back issues. He played well against Phoenix on Tuesday, despite not taking home a win. The Cavaliers are starting off strong. Did I mention I think Kevin Love would make a great addition to this Lakers team?! I mean, what a player! Jordan Hill is playing really well tonight. Kobe's having a great start this first quarter, playing all around good basketball. J. R. Smith is having a good game. This was a pretty exciting first quarter. The Lakers and Cavaliers are tied at 30.
Starting the second quarter, the Lakers are staying strong. Jeremy Lin hitting an early three. LeBron James is 0/4 from the free throw line. Nick Young is hitting some sick shots. Nothing but net for Swaggy P! Jordan Hill is playing a terrific game so far. Kobe Bryant just did some awesome footwork that we love so much, unfortunately missing the basket, getting his shot blocked. It's good to see that he can still turn it on. Kobe just knocked down a nice three. Kobe has 10 assists in this first half. This is Kobe's first time having double figures for assists in a first half.
Starting the third quarter, both teams are playing really well. Kobe already has 14 assists. Kobe Bryant is only supposed to play 32 minutes a game now and he's already played 25 minutes halfway into the third. Kobe now has 15 assist, which is a career high for him. LeBron James just hit back to back three's. The Lakers are down by four going into the fourth quarter with a score of 79-75.
LeBron James is having a great game, which doesn't surprise me. He's an incredible player. Kevin Love is really struggling with a lot of back pain, but he's playing through it. The Cavaliers have the lead right now. Kobe Bryant's back in the game at 27 minutes. I can't imagine how he's supposed to get into rhythm when he sits out for so long. But, I know he needs his rest. Kobe Bryant just hit a beautiful three. It's so sad to see Nick Young struggling to make shots. The Kobe Bryant MVP chants seem louder than usual tonight.
This is gonna be a Cavaliers win, it seems. That Lebron, he's a beast! Nick Young just hit a nice three. Lakers are still down by four with 8.6 seconds to go and LeBron at the free throw line. Game over. The final score is 109-102 Cavaliers. Kobe Bryant stats were 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 17 assists. Nick Young had 14 points and 2 rebounds. Jordan Hill had 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist. LeBron James had 36 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Kevin Love had 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 assist. Kyrie Irving had 22 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists. #GoLakers
