The Lakers starters tonight are Jordan Clarkson, Ryan Kelly, Wesley Johnson, Jabari Brown, and Tarik Black. I'm kind of digging these Lakers jerseys tonight. The Timberwolves have lost eight games in a row and the Lakers have lost five games in a row. This should be quite the match up. Tarik Black has a couple of early dunks. The Lakers are hitting a couple of three pointers early in this first quarter. Jordan Clarkson's doing a great job of getting the ball down court to his teammates so they can get some easy baskets. Dwight Buycks just hit a long two pointer. Jordan Clarkson just rose to the rim and knocked one down. Robert Sacre just got a nice hook shot. He's been taking a lot of hook shots lately. He just made another shot as well. Looks like Sacre is getting some rhythm on tonight. The Lakers have stayed in the lead for the whole first quarter. We're heading to the second quarter with a score of 21-30 Lakers.
Jabari Brown just ran down Court heading straight for the basket and making contact for a three point opportunity. He just made a perfect free throw. Wesley Johnson just hit a sweet 22 point jumper. Jordan Clarkson has nine points already which is more than anyone else in the game. Jabari Brown just made a driving layup, giving Robert Sacre the assist. Jabari Brown just did it again, giving Ryan Kelly the assist. Andrew Wiggins has 8 points in this second quarter, bringing the Timberwolves back in the game. Wiggins already has three offensive rebounds in this game. Jordan Clarkson just went all the way to the rim for a sweet reverse layup. Both teams are out of fouls with four minutes to go in the half. Jabari Brown is displaying some nice aggressive basketball under his sleeve. There's nothing better than that. Bring it on Jabari! Lorenzo Brown made a bad pass giving Tarik Black the opportunity to steal the ball. Sweet! We're going into halftime with a score of 47-52 Lakers.
A good fact to know about the Timberwolves is that they give up the most fast break points in the entire NBA. Andrew Wiggins already has three turnovers. Ryan Kelly just hit a long three. Ryan Kelly has made all 4 of his three point shot attempts tonight. Wesley Johnson just had a beautiful rainbow shot. The Lakers are showing some nice ball movement as Ryan Kelly successfully takes another longshot. Jabari Brown just threw the ball down court to Jordan Clarkson as he slams it home. We're halfway through the third quarter and the Lakers are still dominating the Timberwolves. Tarik Black is playing very well tonight. His game is definitely improving. He's becoming really fun to watch. Jordan Clarkson has missed a couple of shots this quarter that have looked a bit on the light side. He looks like he's not playing as aggressively as he was earlier in the game. I'm hoping he'll turn it back up soon. Ed Davis just made a nice shot. I'm starting to really like some of our players. Although, as much as I like some of them, some I'd love to see get traded. Jordan Clarkson is back on his game! That a boy! We're heading into the fourth quarter with a score of 71-80 Lakers.
Jordan Clarkson just drove to the basket and threw the ball behind the back to Jabari Brown as he scored one for the team. Clarkson is becoming a phenomenal basketball player. That's one heck of a rookie! Holy cannoli, he's good! Robert Sacre just hit a nice left handed jump hook shot at the buzzer. I can't that say I'm a big Sacre fan, but that was a pretty impressive shot. It seems like every time the Lakers get a big lead, they slow it down and relax when they should actually be playing strong til the end. They need to remember that it ain't over till it's over. Wesley Johnson just got the ball under the basket to Tarik Black, as he makes his shot. Adreian Payne just used one hand and threw the ball down hard. The Timberwolves just showed no defense whatsoever and Tarik Black slammed one down, Jordan Clarkson getting the assist. Quickly, my impressed state from Adreian Payne's slam was diminished, as Tarik Black put on a show. The fabulous Tarik Black gettin his game on with help from the cheetah Clarkson! Ed Davis had a great game with 7 points and 9 rebounds in only 18 minutes. Tarik Black just made another shot. Tarik has shot eight out of nine tonight.
The Lakers played well tonight and have won this game with a final score of 106-98. I can't deny being happy for the win tonight. Jordan Clarkson had 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists. Ryan Kelly had 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists. Tarik Black had 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 assist. Jabari Brown had 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 assists.
