Los Angeles Lakers vs. Miami Heat

The Lakers have lost five in a row to the Miami Heat. Let's see if we can beat them tonight. Our Lakers starters are Robert Sacre, Ryan Kelly, Carlos Boozer, Jordan Clarkson, and Wayne Ellington. Let's see what Dwyane Wade and his mighty men can do. The same question remains, "to tank or not to tank," that is the question. Let's go Lakers!

The Lakers are starting off strong. Jordan Clarkson taking the first fast break for the Lakers, getting an easy deuce. The Heat is on an 8-0 run. Luol Deng is off to a great start. We're halfway through the first quarter and the game is staying pretty close. Jeremy Lin just set the ball up nicely, Jordan Clarkson slamming it in. Jeremy Lin has had only five turnovers in the last five games. He's definitely improved his game. I love Jordan Clarkson's enthusiasm tonight. He looks like he really wants to win. The Lakers are showing some great ball movement. I'm loving the teamwork from the Lakers tonight. We're going into the second quarter with a score of 28-25 Heat.

Jeremy Lin is helping out a lot early on in the second quarter. He seems to work really well with Ed Davis, frequently getting him the ball. The Lakers are showing some great ball movement in the second quarter. Wesley Johnson just got in the game and he's already been pretty active. He just got a sweet dunk and a moment after, he hit a nice three pointer. Jeremy Lin is still very active and playing an all around great game. Wayne Ellington just had a really nice shot putting the Lakers up by five points. Both teams are playing pretty aggressive basketball. The Lakers are shooting 58% and we're heading into the half with a score of 51-46 Lakers.

The Lakers are still dominating this Miami team. Robert Sacre just got his fourth foul. The Lakers are out of fouls now with 9:10 left in the third quarter. The Lakers are taking a timeout as Miami Heat takes the lead. Ryan Kelly just got a four point opportunity with 2:05 left in the third. Wayne Ellington just got the ball to Jeremy Lin, who was wide open, getting a nice three pointer. This was a very slow third quarter. We're heading into the fourth quarter with a score of 76-73 Miami.

Jeremy Lin just got the ball to Wesley Johnson, making an easy layup. Wesley Johnson just made another shot. Jeremy Lin is having a great game with 10 points, 7 assists, and 4 steals so far. That's pretty impressive for Lin! Jeremy Lin just got the ball to Ed Davis with Ed Davis taking the and1. Ed Davis is now one of the five Lakers in double figures. The score is 84-80 with 7:15 on the clock. Jeremy Lin just got another shot. Goran Dragic just hit an awesome, 25 foot, three pointer jumper. Once again we're at the crucial part of the game and Jordan Clarkson's shooting some free throws (making both). Jordan Hill slams the ball in the hoop within the last minute as well. Don't our Lakers want to improve our team for next season?!! Enough already! We played well, now let Miami take the win! Hey, I'm all for giving it your all and winning, but we have to look at the big picture. We need to accept some short term darkness and long term light. It's the Lakers turn to get the opportunity to have a better team, with a true chance at another championship.

The Miami Heat takes the win with a final score of 100-94. The Lakers have some great stats tonight. Jeremy Lin had 12 points, 2 rebounds, 9 assists, and 4 steals. Jordan Hill had 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 assist. Ed Davis had 14 points and 12 rebounds. Wayne Ellington had 14 points, 1 rebound, and 3 assists. Jordan Clarkson had 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Carlos Boozer had 13 points and 2 rebounds. Wesley Johnson had 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist. Good game! #GoLakers
